Amanda and her family of 7 (now 8) moved to NYC from South Eastern Michigan to join Hope Church in reaching the city with the message of the gospel.  In 2014, Amanda and her husband Dan planted Hope Roosevelt Island, a multi-ethnic, multi-class church in Manhattan.  She is passionate about pastoring the many families of Roosevelt Island, focusing on equipping the parents of the island to be the spiritual leaders in their families. Amanda has spent her formative years and young adult life serving and working at a local church in Michigan, Kensington Church, in a variety of positions, including working with children and teens, while focusing on the arts and teaching. Amanda received her bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University.
