Robert Guerrero

Robert is a NYC returner, now residing (since Jan 2012) in the neighborhood where he was born and raised, after 37 years of absence - Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan. He was converted at age 17 and discipled in a birthing Church in his neighborhood, and ever since most of his Christian experience has been connected to Church plants. His calling to full time ministry led him to relocate to Chicago (Moody Bible Institute) during which time he co-planted La Villita Community Church. Upon graduation he returned to Dominican Republic where he planted and pastored Iglesia Comunitaria Cristiana for 16 years - the catalyst church that birthed Del Camino Network for Integral Mission in Latin America. He sensed Gods calling to return to NY leading him to intersect with Redeemer City to City where he has been serving for the last four years as NYC Church Planting Catalyst. Robert is also the lead pastor of Trinity Grace Church Washington Heights.

Robert and Damaris have four children, Joshua (26), Tomás (20), Robert (14) and Joel (20). He loves to read, workout, dance salsa, and hang out with non-Christian friends. He’s also a Bee-Gees fan! His favorite hang-out is El Malecón Restaurant up in the Heights; loves strong Dominican coffee and is a die-hard NY Giants fan. His favorite breakfast is “los tres golpes” (mangú-plantain with onions, fried salami, fried cheese and sunny side fried eggs).
